Clifford started his journey in life on February 8, 1950. He was the fourth child of Zack Williams, who died in 1971, and Lillie Mary Williams-Neal. Clifford grew up in Jenkinjones, West Virginia and graduated in 1967. His comrades will always remember him as Jug or Will. The next path of his journey led him to Cleveland, Ohio. It was there, that he and Jean formed a union before God and started their journey together. Clifford was blessed with six children, namely: Monica, Kenny, Raysean, Kim, Charise, and Jerome. Clifford’s journey came to an end on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in Columbus Ohio. In addition to his father, Clifford was predeceased by one sister, Darnetris Williams, and three brothers, Sylvester Williams, who died in 1972, Roger Williams, who died in 2003, and Samuel Williams, who died in 2005. Clifford leaves to cherish in his memory, his children; his mother, Lillie Mary Williams-Neal of Columbus, Ohio; six brothers, Theoples Martin of Arizona, Michael L. Williams of Georgia, Clarence D. Williams of Alabama, Anthony K. Williams of Ohio, Robert K. Williams of Germany, and James D. Williams of California; four sisters, Ramona Boston of Arizona, Cheryl Williams of Ohio, Juanita Williams-Smith of Alabama, and Delores Williams-Blair of California; and a host of devoted brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” ~ Psalms: 23:4
