Consuelo Lucille 'Connie' Lewis

Consuelo Lucille Lewis (Connie), age 73, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at The Woodlands of Columbus. Born September 24, 1938 in Washington, DC, Connie grew up in Welch, WV. After graduating from Kimball High School, she took a practical nursing course at Brown's Hospital in Bluefield, WV, and later moved to Hempstead, Long Island, NY, where she worked until retirement. After retiring, she became ill and moved to Columbus, Ohio to be nearer family. Preceding Connie in death are her parents Dallas and Mary Lewis, daughter Lisa Denise, and brothers Gene and William Lewis. She leaves to mourn, her brother Ronald (Eleanor) Lewis; sister Mona Ann Slade; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Columbus Bibleway Church, 2660 Rhoads Ave., with family receiving friends from 11 a.m. until the start of service. Dr. William Tally, officiating. Inurnment Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens, New York, near her daughter.
