Cornelius Barrow

Cornelius Beresford "Neil" Barrow, 96, of Blacklick, Ohio passed away July 2, 2024 surrounded by family at his home.

He was born in Pittsburg, PA on October 29, 1927 to the late Cornelius Barrow and Ethel Russell Frazier Barrow.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Emma Jane Barrow and son, Robert B. Barrow.

Surviving family includes children; Russell Frasier Barrow, Kathleen (Eric) Elizabeth Edwards, Ella Jane Barrow; grandchildren, Alexander Beresford Barrow, Austin Charles Barrow, Kiley Elaine Dubenion, Kearston Dubenion, Madison Lee Scurlock, Taylor Morgan Scurlock; great grandchildren, Solomon Lance Featherstone, Samir Jerome Featherstone , Sunny Rae Beasley, Anora Elaine Murphy; sister-in-law, Patrice Barrow, as well as many other loving extended family and friends.

Neil served in the United States Army, serving in World War II receiving a Victory Medal and Army OCC medal. He was Honorably discharged Feb 10, 1946.

Cornelius traveled with his family cross country to California seeing Mount Rushmore, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, and Disney Land.

Cornelius was a wonderful man and will forever be in the hearts of those who loved him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Memorial Service immediately following at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service, 1370 East Main Street Columbus, Ohio 43205.
