Dale G. Cashwell

Dale G. Cashwell peacefully departed this life on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Grant Medical Center. He was born on September 28, 1938 in Covington, Virginia; a son of the late William Henry and Gladys Nowlin Cashwell. He served and retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service. Dale settled in Columbus, Ohio after retirement. While living here, he met many great friends who became his second family. He was a very quiet man with a great sense of humor and loved to laugh, as well as watching all types of sports. Dale is preceded in death by his parents; two brother, William Henry Cashwell Jr. and John Lee Cashwell; and two sisters, Bette Minor and Norma Spears. He leaves to cherish his memories; one brother, Irving (Marlene) Cashwell Sr., of Virginia Beach, Virginia; one sister, Joanne White, of Fort Washington, Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
