Dale James Montgomery

On Friday, November 29th, 2019, loving father of ten, Dale James Montgomery, went home to be with the Lord. Dale was born on August 16, 1937 in Cincinnati, OH to William and Irene Montgomery. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Irene, an older brothers William (Billy) and Robert Montgomery and older sisters Irene Montgomery and Louise Montgomery. In early adulthood, Dale worked as a physical training instructor in the Air Force. He later began working for Conrail Railroad (later CSX) and transferred to Columbus, OH. He retired from the CSX railroad after 30 years of service. Dale had a passion for reading and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his partner, Frances Cumberland; children, Anita Lewis, Dezi, April, Dale, Deong (Anita), Darien, Ashley (Sachin), Stephanie, Dale, and Charlise Montgomery; siblings, Eugene Montgomery, and Lucille Bryant-Little; over a dozen grandchildren, many great- grandchildren and great- great grandchildren, as well as his former wives Bessie, Linda, and Theresa Montgomery-White.
