Dana Kareem Brodie

Dana Kareem Brodie was born January 31, 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his call from God to take his place with the Angels of Heaven on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. He was a resident of Schererville, Indiana and considered Columbus, Ohio his second home. Dana was a 1992 graduate of Crossland High School in Temple Hills, Maryland and he studied Electronic Technology at DeVry Institute in Columbus. Dana was loyal employee of Arby's for the last eighteen years of his life. MISTER, as he was affectionately called by his wife Nina, was a loving husband and a dedicated father to his Alycia Ryshelle and Ashlynn Rianna. As many people know, Dana pledged his unwavering allegiance to the Philadelphia Eagles. His mother Louella Young Brodie, and father Henry Louis Armstrong, II, preceded Dana in death. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Tanina D. Brodie; two daughters Alycia Brodie and Ashlynn Brodie; sisters, Ada (Warren) Paige, Carol Smith, Lovella Mohammad, and Sa-Kayia Tobias; mother-in-law Margaret Henderson; father-in-law Atrel (Lisa) Henderson; brother-in-law Titonton Duvante; sisters-in-law, Brandy Brogan, Shevonne Wainwright, and Michelle Henderson; nieces, Lydia, Jeanette, Darlene, Rayven, Quiara, Ellyse, Malisha, Malayna, Marcia, Kristen, and Amanda; nephews, Masudi, Malik, Matthew, Emmanuel, Raymond, Savion, Sean, and Matril; aunts Ciat Shabazz and Veronica (Maverick) Wall; uncle Benjamin Young; his extended family, the in-laws, a host of many other family and friends, and The Arby's University Alumni. and a host of other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration 11 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2011 at Trinity Baptist Church, 461 St. Clair Ave., where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the start of service. Pastor Victor M.
