Daniel Clinton Johnson

Daniel C. Johnson, age 70, passed away on August 8, 2015 at his residence. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Daniel's family later moved to Berlin, New Jersey where he grew up. Dan met no stranger and touched many lives with his humor and kindness. He was preceded in death by his parents, David W. and Dorothy Lunsford Johnson, and brothers, David W. Johnson, Jr. and Darryl C. Johnson. Survived by loving wife Kathleen Johnson; daughters, Florence Renee Hagains of Pennsylvania and Catondria B. (Dedrick) Smith of Tennessee; son Todd L. Smith, Sr.; brothers, Deane W. (Karen) Johnson of California and Don W. (Norma) Johnson of Texas; sisters, Etta M. Cox of Maryland and Dawne C. (Virgil) Carmen of New Jersey; sisters-in-law, Myrna L. (Louis) Byrd, Elder Sharon D. Alston, and Lois Johnson; brother-in-law Richard V. Smith, Sr., six grandsons, Justin, Kameron, Jolsean, Tymon, Todd Jr., and Tyler; one great granddaughter Jillian; three aunts, Florence Tally, June Cottman and Norma Fickens; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be sadly missed by all. Special thanks for the loving care of his grandson Tyler Smith, Hospice and the staff of both Mt. Carmel East and West Hospitals.
