Darrell “Stink” Anthony Finch was born to Gregory Binion and Catherine Finch on August 11, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio. At the age of 50, he passed away on Thursday July 14, 2022 peacefully at his home. Darrell was a graduate of West High School. He excelled in basketball as well as track & field. He had a pull-up mean jump shot like no other and lightening speed on the track team, which he anchored many relay races. Darrell loved basketball, roller skating, fishing, bowling, card playing, and most of all, his Pittsburgh Steelers. More recently, Darrell became a chef & loved to display his culinary creations. Darrell was a family man who loved his daughters infinitely and would do anything in the world for them. He cared more for others than himself. Darrell will truly be missed. Darrell was preceded in death by his loving mother, Catherine “Cathy” Finch, his grandmother Gloria Finch, his grandfather John Finch, his aunt Belinda Gilbert, his father Gregory Binion & his grandmother Lillian Johnson. Darrell was survived by his daughters Nia’miah Wilmer, and Jazmin Williams, sisters Marlene (Tim Edmunds) Finch, Nakia (Darryle) Prentiss, Maisha Blalock, and Gianna Binion; brothers Myron Jackson-Young, and Gregory “Bookum” Thomas; niece Tanaeya Edmunds, uncles Michael (Tangja) Finch, George “Bo” Gilbert, special cousin Sabrina Finch, & special friends: Barbara Allen, Russell, John and Angie Early, Chlorie Edmunds “Mom Dukes”, James Johnson, Derek Knight, Pedro Brown, Billy Martin, Londell Tuff, Wendell Bush, David Howell, LaMont Miles, Lewis Flemister, Lawrence Burgress, Tim Majors, Chip Watkins, North 17th Street Family, & The Big Dogs Bowling Family, and a host of other relatives and friends.
