Dashawn Antwon Fouche' Hawkins

DaShawn Antwon Fouche’ Hawkins was born November 15th, 1987 to Shawn Fouche’ Hawkins and Danette Garnes of Columbus Ohio. DaShawn was filled with love. He took joy from all that life had to offer. DaShawn was a rare talent in that he achieved everything on which he set his mind. DaShawn was competitive, but family and friendship meant everything to him. Growing up, DaShawn played basketball, baseball, football and even chess. He was a receiver and kicker for Marion Franklin’s Red Devils before graduating in 2006. After high school he studied Business Management and Administration at Harper College in Illinois, and continued his education at Columbus State Community College. DaShawn was the proud, caring father of three beautiful children: Kane Michael Fouche’ Hawkins (Mika Marie Williams), Ashawnti Amor Hawkins and DaShawn Antwon Fouche’ Hawkins Jr (Fiancé Alesha Michell Mann). On May 3rd, 2015 Dashawn departed this world in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was greeted at heavens gate by his father, Shawn Fouche’ Hawkins, and grandfather, John Milton Hawkins, as well as, other family taken before their time. In his final act of love DaShawn donated his organs, so that others could experience the fullness that life provided him. DaShawn is survived by his Mother, Fiance, and ten siblings: Davonn Hawkins, Jahleel Mullins, Kiani Mullins, Elijah Small, DisJon Foster, Andre’ Caison Jr, Gary Jenkins, Shawnmeeka Hawkins, DeAngelo Caison and Shaniya Hawkins. DaShawn leaves behind two grandmothers, Shirley Rikard and Helen F. Hawkins; aunts, Cindy Rikard and Margaret Rikard; uncles, Thomas J. Huddleston IV and Chris Garnes; niece, Makayla Hawkins; cousins, Brittany Huddleston, Tianna Huddleston and Thomas J. Huddleston V. DaShawn “Face” Fouche’ has many extended family members and friends mourning his passing, including the Smith Road family. Our son, brother, father, fiancé, cousin, uncle and friend will be missed and loved by all.
