Debra A. Durante

DEBRA ANN DURANTE was born on Monday, January 20, 1958, in Columbus Ohio. "Debbie," as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was a graduate of South High School, Class of 1976. She worked as an Account Examiner for the Ohio Bureau of Worker's Compensation for 35 years, before retiring in 2015. Debbie was an avid traveler and she loved to cook. She was known for her yearly family and friends cookout, where all were welcome to attend. Debbie was a lifelong, faithful member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. She devotedly served as a trustee, nurse, and was the leader of the kitchen ministry. Debbie leaves special memories with every person whose life she touched. Our beloved Debra A. Durante transitioned from this life on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. She was 63 years of age. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Thurman Riley; mother, Shirley E. Durante; and brother, Larry A. Durante. She leaves behind to cherish many memories her brothers, Michael Durante and Mark Durante; niece, Brandi Durante; nephews, Raphael Durante and Michael Durante; friend/sister, Diane Ward; cousin, Tina Hairston of Columbus, Ohio, Sandra Still, and William Brown, both of Cleveland, Ohio; a host of other family members, and many friends.
