Debra Lynn (White) “Debbie” Bryant was born on February 14, 1961 to Wendell K. Jr. and Doris White in Columbus, Ohio. She ran track, was a Majorette and graduated with Honors from South High School, Class of 1979. Debbie later wed Anthony B. Bryant on September 19, 1987 and they had two sons: Anthony I. and Brandon T. Debbie worked at Prudential, K-Mart, Shonac, and the Post Office but her passion was Cosmetology. She began her cosmetology career in 1985 and engaged in a new venture with her longtime friend Carolyn Solomon at Artistic Ebony Hair Designing Studio in 1994. She began her partnership with Carolyn opening Artistic Ebony Salon and Day Spa located in Reynoldsburg, OH on Brice Rd. in 2005. Debbie was a Charter member at Faith Ministries and an Adult Usher. She also enjoyed playing softball in various leagues and then with the Ebony Panthers since 1999. Debbie was a great cook, true friend and confidant to many. Debbie was proceeded in death by her grandparents; and father, Wendell K. White, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Doris White; husband, Anthony B.; sons, Anthony I. and Brandon T. Bryant (Shaney James); stepdaughter, Anthya (Robert) McClurkin; sisters, Veronica White and Vickie White (Michael) Callender; brother, Wendell White III; grandchildren, Madison, McKenzie, Robert, Arianna, and Kai; mother-in-law, Lenora Bryant; special friends, Carolyn Solomon and Karen Weaver; and a host of family and friends.
