Delores Marie Prillerman, daughter of the late Vellie Davidson and Lillian Gentry Davidson was born May 4, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio. Sadly she departed this life Friday, January 15, 2021. Delores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and as a result of her beautiful spirit she was adored by many. She is preceded in death by husbands, Lawrence Prillerman and John Richardson and siblings Dorothy Brown, Lawrence Davidson, Jane Terry and Ruth Goodrich. Delores graduated from North Evening School. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined what is now known as Hilltop United Methodist Church. She was a dedicated member and volunteered her time with the United Methodist Women where she was treasurer, Ruth Circle, Day at Hilltop Ministry, the Administrative Council, the Lunch Bunch and she was an exceptional and very meticulous church treasurer for more than twenty years. Delores was a long time member of the Mona Lisa Club. She enjoyed being with the ladies where they bonded over their love of traveling, eating and partying. Delores loved going to the casino winning jackpots playing the one armed bandits. She relished playing Spades, Tonk, Poker, Bid Whist and Left, Right, Center with her family and Five Card Draw with her poker club, affectionately known as “the 8 girls.” Later in life she enjoyed getting her nails done and shopping for new clothes. In 1985 Delores retired from the Defense Supply Agency or “The Depot” after 38 years of service. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, La Donna Prillerman and Dianne (Michael) Rouse; grandchildren Gregory (Kashmira) Smith, Kennett Square, PA; Nikki (Kerry) Stringer and Michael Jones Jr.; great-grandchildren Aaliyah Jones, Nickolas and McKenzie Stringer, Nimah and Kasim Smith, many cousins, nieces, nephews and her Hilltop UMC family. She’ll also be greatly missed by special cousin, Virginia Davidson and loving caregiver who was more like family, Yvonne Westerfield. Delores always loved a party! When it is safe to gather again, the family plans to pay tribute to her life with a 95th birthday celebration.

We encourage you to utilize Delores's memorial celebration wall to view her video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
