Delores V (Morris) Wright

Delores V. Wright was born April 19, 1929 in Pageton, West Virginia to John and Laura Saunders Morris. After 30 years of service, Delores retired from the State of Ohio as a Food Service Manager. She received numerous accolades and awards for her excellent service as a Food Service Manager. More importantly, she spent her life as a dedicated sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. On Monday, March 27, 2017, at the age of 87, Delores departed this life while at Mt. Carmel-St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parent’s, Delores was preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Harvey C. Wright; and four sisters, Minnie, Arnita, Shirley, and Louise. Those who remain to cherish the memories of Delores include her only son, Robert “Bobby” (Carol) Shelton, III of Columbus, Oh; two grandson’s, Robert Shelton IV of Columbus, Oh and Johnathan (An) Shelton of Glendale, Az; three great grandchildren, Rachael, Tovah, and Imara; a sister, Marva Morris; and a brother, O’Shea Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
