Denise Williams

Denise “Neet” Williams left this life and entered into peaceful rest in the arms of the Lord on Monday, February 18, 2013, at the age of 44. Born in Columbus, Ohio, on January 14, 1969, Denise was a daughter of Arvell and Mary Williams. Denise attended Columbus Public Schools and was a 1987 graduate of Beechcroft High School. She enjoyed cooking and was a dedicated employee of the State Highway Patrol, proudly serving fourteen years in food preparation and service. In her sparetime, Denise loved listening to music and socializing on the front porch, where she would enjoy a good laugh with friends and family. She would always greet you with a friendly smile. Denise was kind and generous to all those she met. An avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes, she could be found on football Saturdays proudly wearing her scarlet and gray and cheering her favorite team to victory. Denise leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Dametrius Allen (Takia) Williams, Tiana Nicole Williams, and her angel, Deshaya Nicole Martin; her loving parents, Arvell and Mary Williams; her companion Gerald Martin; four grandchildren, Tamyra Drew-Williams, Dametrius Williams, Jr, Damerius Williams, and Kevon Houston; two brothers Arvell (Marie) Williams, Jr. and Curtis (Pam) Williams; two sisters Ophelia Williams (Gary) Peppers and Joyce Peppers; two aunts Dorothy Williams and Annie Pearl Robinson; fifteen nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
