Dennis W. Jennings

Dennis Wayne Jennings was called home to God’s loving arms on August 25, 2019 at the age of 66. He was born on October 6, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio. Dennis attended the Ohio State University and is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. Before retiring he worked for the State of Ohio and the City of Columbus. Dennis is preceded in death by grandparents: Timothy and Blanche Jennings, father: Perry Ellis, Jr., Trishella and Maxx McDaniel, and Teri and VictorJackson. Dennis leaves to continue to love and cherish his memory: wife: Beverly Jennings, mother: Ozella Jennings, daughters: Sherell White, Denise Jennings, Tonya Harshaw, Michelle Malone, Serina Malone and DeLisa Ferguson, siblings: Victor, Steven (Danae), Manuel (Melissa), and Brent Jennings, Kris McDaniel, Deona Jennings-Bowen (Kim), Diana Sylvia (Wesley) and Brandi Jennings, two grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loving neighbors special cousins Marshell Douglass, Thomas Toney and Betty Foster. Dennis was proud to have been a baptized member of Trinity Baptist Church and a United States Army veteran. Along with his artistic endeavors, he was a voracious gardener and fisherman. Dennis’ good spirit made him a gentle and kind man. He chose to live simply so that others could simply live. Dennis is/was a blessing.
