Deryl W. Cochran, age 67, born September 1, 1949 in Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully at home with family on August 2, 2017. A graduate of East High School and The Ohio State University, Deryl retired from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources after 32 years of service, and later obtained a Certification with the United States National Tennis Association as a Tennis Instructor. Preceded in death by parents William and Olive Cochran, brothers George and Erwin Cochran, and sister Olive Davenport Gordan. Survived by his wife of 29 years, Saundra; children, Devora Cochran, Darniece Cochran, Shawn Holland, and Josalyn Holland; brother Thomas Cochran; grandchildren, Dwayne Woods, Damian Hall, Debra Briggs, Destany Cochran, Alisha Adams, and Lawrence Fowlkes, Jr.; and a host of other loved ones including great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, uncles, in-laws, and friends.
