Devin Elijah 'Djay' Johnson

Devin Elijah Johnson was called home to be with the Lord on the morning of Monday, September 21, 2015, while at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. A lifelong resident of Columbus, he was born March 16, 1997. He was affectionately known by the nickname of Djay. Djay was an amazing, dedicated, hardworking employee at Donato's and moved on to Skyline Chili, where he was loved beyond measure. He was preceded in death by his brother Desmond R. Johnson, grandmother Lillian Hawkins, great grandfather David Knowles, great grandmother Camille Dawson, aunts, Latonia Heard, Cynthia Rina Knowles, Gloria Knowles, and Ethel Reasonover, and cousins, Marvin Radford, Jr., Damion Hill, and David Knowles, III. Djay leaves to cherish his memory, his loving princess, his heart, his infant daughter, Anyla Lillian Neveah Johnson; his loving parents, Ester (Jr.) and Tamara Johnson; loving brother Demetrius McLaughlin; grandparents, Ester (Sr.) and Louise Johnson of Toledo, Ohio; his fiancee and the love of his life, Jada Hardy; uncles, Stanley (Davina) Hawkins, Raymond (Jessica) Johnson, and Rickey (Chevelle) Knowles; aunt Tasha (Jake) Diggs; his loving cousin and 2nd mother Vanessa McCall; special little cousin who is like a brother, Jordan McCall; niece Jozlynn McLaughlin; nephew Dyoni McLaughlin; and a host of many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
