Domineek Maleek 'Boota Bang' Sharp

Domineek Maleek Sharp was born August 21, 1995 to Louis E. Sharp, Jr. and Patricia L. Duncan Sharp in Columbus, Ohio. Domineek attended Unity Baptist Church and received his academic education in the Columbus City Schools where he last attended Walnut Ridge High School. Later, he participated in programs with the Columbus Urban League and the Academy for Urban Solutions. Through such initiatives, Domineek was able to foster positive relationships with individuals such as Brother O who he looked to as a personal mentor. Domineek enjoyed boxing and playing basketball; however, his true passion was in writing poetry and rap lyrics. Growing more focused on honing his gift, Domineek had recently set out to begin making a name for himself as a hip hop artist. Boota, a nickname initially used only within the family circle, eventually became Boota Bang, a tag name by which Domineek was widely known among his friends and peers. Through his presence in the social media realm, Boota Bang was on the verge of building quite a following and creating opportunities for himself to make live performance appearances at various venues and events. On June 17, 2017, at the age of 21, Domineek departed this earthly life to rest in the arms of his Heavenly Father. He joins his maternal grandmothers, Mildred L. Duncan and Belva L. Yancey, paternal grandfather Louis E. Sharp, Sr., maternal uncle Dean Dalton Duncan, and paternal uncle David Watkins, all of whom preceded Domineek in death. Those who remain to cherish memories of Domineek include his parents, Louis E. Sharp, Jr. and Patricia L. Sharp; sister Sheniqua C. Sharp; brother Vandonte T. Duncan; paternal grandmother Cora C. Sharp; maternal uncles, Charles (Cynthia) Yancey and Gary (Sheila) Flemings; paternal uncles, Rudolph (Margaret) Sharp, Franklin (Sharon) Sharp, and Daniel (Margaret) Sharp; paternal aunts, Debralynn Watkins, Beverly (Michael) Bowles, Teresita (Tony) Sharp and Priscilla Sharp; devoted girlfriend Tamara Trotter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godsisters, other relatives and friends.
