Dorothy Ann Sawyer

Dorothy Ann Sawyer, age 79, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016. She was born to the late Vera and Clifford Sawyer on February 16, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio. Dorothy attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated from East High School. She worked at Anheuser-Busch as a Production Worker for many years until her retirement. Dorothy was known to have a kind and giving spirit. She always helped those in need. She also enjoyed cheering on her Ohio State Buckeyes. She is survived by her two loving sons, whom she adored, Kevin and Brian Sawyer; daughter-in-law, Ritha Sawyer; two sisters, Esther Fisher of Columbus, Ohio and Patricia Dean of Philadelphia, PA; 8 grandchildren, Brittany, Brian Jr., Kevin, Gabriella, Ryan, Jamarious, Jordan, Kingsley and Briana; one special grandson, Tyrone; 7 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Annie Suggs, Betty Roddy, Sydney Armstead; and a host of other family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her grandson, Marques Sawyer; great-grandchild, Aubrie Wilson; siblings, Betty, Norma, Shirley, Juanita, Clifford and Harold.
