Eddie Ruth Hampton

Eddie Ruth Hampton, 88, born September 4,1928 in Holly Grove, Arkansas, passed away April 28, 2017. As a young adult, she relocated with her siblings to Columbus, Ohio, where she was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church and retired from OSU Hospitals. She is preceded in death by her son Oliver Eugene Hampton, parents Palmore and Willie Mae Hampton, sisters, Mildred Bell, Alma Stratton, and Sue Bennett, and brothers, Hiram Hampton, Charles Hampton and John Hampton. Those who remain to cherish memories of Eddie Ruth include her daughter Eve (John) Bowen of Washington; sisters Selma Buford and Otis Marie Hampton; grandchildren LeDree Eulin Martin and Oliver Eugene Hampton, Jr.; great grandchildren Oliver Holt and Oliviyah Hampton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
