Edith Elizabeth Wells

Edith Elizabeth Wells, 90, was born to the union of Emanuel and Elizabeth Davidson in Westerville, OH on August 25, 1920. God was ready for her in Heaven and called her home on June 12, 2011 at Isabelle Ridgeway. She joined the U.S. Women's Army Air Corp. in 1938 and was honorably discharged in 1946 as an Aviation Cadet. She met U.S. Corporal Robert Lanier Wells, Sr. at the Eddie Rickerbacker Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Chester and Benjamin Davidson and sisters, Rosemary Holliman, Gloria Hayes, Alice Logan and Shirley Harvey. Left to mourn and cherish her memory, brother, Emanuel Davidson; sisters, Betty English, Helen Wright and Rebecca Jackson; children, Edward Davidson, Marilyn Elizabeth Wells, Robert Lanier Wells II (Garnet), Audrey Jean Wells-North (Arthur), Carol Luckey and Dennis Sheldon Wells aka Maurice Jasmine; 6 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
