Edward Elijah Feaster, Sr.

Edward Elijah Feaster, "Eddie," was born December 13, 1945 to Elijah and Ruth Feaster in Buffalo, New York. On December 22, 2017, our loving father was called home to rest his tired soul. Eddie received his education at East High School in Buffalo, New York. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army where he received a medal of honor as a parachutist, while also serving as an executive chef. Eddie decided to further his education at Medaille College, and became a counselor for the mentally disabled at St. Augustine Center. He also worked at Lafeyette High School as a custodian, becoming the staff and student’s personal friend and confidant. Eddie loved to talk, and walk from one end of the earth to the other; that was his true specialty. He was a very distinguished and intellectual man with many stories to his life. He loved his family unconditionally - especially his children, and grandchildren. Eddie is preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Foots, and their mother and father. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, three daughters, Michelle L. (Bryan) Williams of Bexley, Ohio, Nicole Feaster and Shekuira Feaster (Lonnie), both of Buffalo; two sons, Keith Feaster of Buffalo, and Edward Elijah Feaster, Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina; three brothers, Elijah Feaster, Jr. (Paula) of Simpsonville, South Carolina, James (Arlene) Feaster, and Carl Feaster, both of Buffalo; three sisters, Deborah (Benny) Boatwright of Statesville, North Carolina, Deloris Coward of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Mary Feaster (David) of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren, Bylal Humphrey (Maggie), Carter Williams, Bryan Williams, Jr., all of Bexley, Justin Alexander Poumpey of Buffalo, Kadin Feaster of Raleigh, and Cameron Bell of Buffalo; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
