Edward Oliver Sr

Edward Lawrence Oliver, Sr., age 65, went home to the Lord Friday, December 30, 2011 at his residence. He was born April 13, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to the late John A. Oliver, Sr.; and Virginia I. Oliver, and was the third of eight children. He was called Eddie by all of his family and friends. He attended Cleveland Public Schools, was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran; he worked for Ford Motor Co. until his retirement. Eddie was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his parents, his son, Edward Oliver, Jr.; and brother, Michael B. Oliver. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Rita Lovelace Oliver; sisters, JoAnn and Janet; brothers, John, Richard, Clifford, and Morris; mother-in-law, Norina V. Wolfe; sisters-in-law, Lynda Anderson and Nadine Allen; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
