Edwin D. Massey

Edwin “Big Ed” Daniel Massey Jr. 83, went to his heavenly home on Friday, November 3, 2017. He was born to the late Edwin Daniel Massey Sr. and Ruby (Nelson) Massey. Ewin was a former member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church. He retired from City of Columbus Division of Water. He was an accomplished bowler. He bowled at Broad Olympic, Piketon, Main Lanes, Eastland Lanes, Mr. Bills, The Palace, and Holiday Lanes. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Edwin is preceded in death by his parents; brother’s Nathaniel Massey, and Melvin Massey, sister Lillie Massey Commodore. He is survived by loving wife of 57 years Mary White Massey; son, Keith Massey; daughters, Kellee Massey, Karyne Stephanie (Abdul) Rashid; grandchildren, Keith Massey II, Khadijah and Khalysah Rashid, and Mehki Edwards; great grandchild, Kaleb Chambers; brothers, James (Jackie) Massey, Eugene (Eugenia) Massey, and Robert (Ruby) Massey; sister-in-law, Betty Massey; brother-in-law, Dolphus (Valerie) White; and daughter-in-law, Angela Massey.
