Eligah Whaley Jr

Eligah Whaley Jr. was born to Roxie (Lester) Whaley and Eligah Whaley Sr. on November 1, 1940 at 4:00 am in Potts Camp Mississippi. He departed this life and entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior on December 27, 2013 at Grant Medical Center at 2:30 am. Eligah Whaley Jr. received the Lord as he as Savior at an Early. He was a faithful member of New Zion Baptist Church where he was baptized on January 13, 2002. He was also ordained as a deacon on May 25, 2008. Eligah Whaley was known as Papa Whaley was a faithful member until his health failed him. Eligah Whaley Jr., was member of the Past Master Samaritan Lodge #117 40 Plus Member, John C Logan Chapter #53 HRAM, Herald Council #3 R M, L.D. Easton Consistory #21 was elected to receive the 33rd Degree in 2014. He enjoyed his family and bowling in which he formed the JR Mixed bowling league. He is preceded in death by his Mother Roxie (Lester) Whaley and Father Eligah Whaley Sr., Sisters: Elizabeth Porter, Annie Starks. Brothers: James Whaley, Benton Whaley, Sam Whaley, Leonard Pearson, James Pearson, Wallace Ross. Leave to cherish his memories his Children: Mary (Marvin) Whaley-LaMarr, Stephanie Whaley¬Ross, Martin (Lori) Whaley, Walter (Tangela Rattle) Cloyd, Brandon Montgomery, Kimberly (Ernest) Bell, Maurice Hunter Jr., Taneisha Barnes, Dwayne Barnes, Caregiver and friend Maefield Whaley- Cloyd.
