Elizabeth (Mcswain) Carreker

Elizabeth Carreker, 67 passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Zusman Hospice Center. She was born on September 5, 1946 to Richard and Fannie McSwain. Elizabeth was preceded in death by mother and father Richard and Fannie Mcswain and daughter Sharon Lynn Carreker – Gravely (Joe). She touched so many lives with her generosity and kind heart. She will be missed by all who loved her. Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all. Elizabeth was a faithful member at Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies, Inc. until her time of illness. She is survived by her loving children, Ann Marie Carreker, Anthony (Courtney) Carreker of Akron, Ohio, and Eric Carreker; sister Mariam McSwain all of Columbus, Ohio. Grandchildren, Isaiah Jemison, Demetrius Gravely, Cekoyia Castillo, Alayiah Carreker, Jevon Carreker, Kiya Carreker, Anthony Carreker, Jr and three great-grandchildren. Special cousin Brenda (Charles) Williams. Elizabeth Carreker was a long time resident of the Windsor Terrace and a former employee of The Ohio State University Food Service (Morrill Tower). She was a graduate of Central High School in Columbus, Ohio.
