Elizabeth Nanette Booker, 76, Sunrise May 28, 1945, and Sunset August 17, 2021. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Nanette graduated from Columbus East High School in 1963. She was a dedicated employee of the City of Columbus, retiring after 30 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Stanley Harper and Thomasina (Faison) Harper, and special angels Pauline Sibley and Mary E. O'Cain. Her memory will be cherished by husband, Frederick Booker; mother-in-law, Hattie J. Bone; children, Nena (Adam) Bradley, Nichole (Eric) Brandon, Angela (Lowell III) Burks, Courtland Booker and step-daughter, Kim Leatherbury (Morris) Smith; grandchildren, Dariane Garland, Adam (AJ) Bradley Jr., Eric Brandon, Jr., Madison E. Burks, Lowell (Charlie) Burks IV, Aubree Collins, Mataia Smith and Courtney Booker; sisters, Eugenia Harper and Tonette Brown; and a host of many other family members and dear friends. Due to COVID, the family requires masks be worn by all attending. The service will also be streamed live for those unable to attend.
