Eloise Fullen-Hackett

August 6, 1957 — September 11, 2022

Eloise Theresa Fullen-Hackett was born August 6, 1957. “Sissy” as she was affectionately known, was a member of St Dominic Church, attended St Dominic and Christ the King elementary schools, and Bishop Hartley and East High Schools graduating in 1974.

She later attended Ohio University, in Athens Ohio where she met her future husband Rayburn. Sissy was employed as a school bus driver, shepherding children safely to and from school, until her health began to decline.

Sissy loved life and lived it on her terms even through her lengthy illness. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and found the good time in the different circumstances life presented. Teasing, laughter, and sharp remarks with a smile, let you know “that’s Sissy.” She died peacefully on September 11, 2022, at the age of 65.

Sissy was preceded in death by her parents; Wesley S. and Gene H. Fullen, her nephew Shaun Fullen and great-nephew Shaun Fullen Jr., special friend Alphonso Dillard, her grandparents, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

She leaves behind her brother Wesley H., her nephew Wesley L. who was her confidant, her nephew Christopher (Tiffany) who was her home healthcare aide, friend, and provider, her niece Alexis, her cousin Gayle Nolan-Clark, her lifelong besties Bonnie Lee and Sharon Tracey Hairston, and many other family members and friends.
