Ely Parks

Ely King Parks, a beloved son, brother, grandson, and nephew, was born on September 30, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio. He became a bright light in the lives of many. Ely was known for his warm smile and infectious laughter that could brighten even the darkest of days. His journey, however, came to an end when he passed away on January 21, 2025.

Ely was the proud son of Marshawn Parks and Aerial Brown-Anderson, who gave him unwavering love and support throughout his brief but impactful life. The bond he shared with his parents was extraordinary, a testament to their devotion and nurturing guidance.

Ely was also the loving brother of Jayden (10), Blyss (7), and Estelle (3), who enjoyed every minute with Ely. Ely and Estelle shared the same birthday as they were exactly 3 years apart and had the strongest and most unbreakable bond. Ely’s siblings deeply miss him, but they know he is now in heaven with Jesus, and they will see Ely again.

In his short time with us, Ely touched many hearts and was the sweetest baby boy. Ely King Parks may have departed this world, but his spirit remains alive in the hearts of those he touched. His legacy will forever inspire us to be the sweetest, loving, individual, and brightful light he was.

As we gather to honor Ely’s memory, we invite all who knew and loved him to join us for a visitation and funeral service at The Trinity Baptist Church, located at 461 St Clair Ave, Columbus, OH, on February 3, 2025. The visitation will begin at 1:00 PM and continue until 1:30 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. It will be a time to share stories, reminisce about the joy he brought into our lives, and celebrate a spirit that will always be remembered. We love you sweet baby boy Ely King Parks, forever in our hearts.
