Emma Jane Barrow

Emma Jane Barrow, affectionately known as Jean, was born March 11, 1933, in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. Emma Jane Barrow gained her angel wings on June 27, 2022, at her home in Columbus, Ohio; Emma was 89 years old. Emma attended Westinghouse High School and Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a member of Zion AME in Delaware, Ohio.

Emma was a youth leader for many years before she retired from Scioto village. Upon her retirement, she was a fabulous caretaker to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In leisure, Emma enjoyed Crossword puzzles, sudoku, and playing the penny slots at the casino. She also enjoyed her game shows, including Let's Make a Deal, The Price is Right, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune.

Emma passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Robert Beresford Barrow.

Those left to cherish Emma's memory are her husband Cornelius B. Barrow; Brother Van McClellan, Children, Ella Jane Barrow, Kathleen Elizabeth Edwards, and Russell Frazier Barrow; Daughter-In-Law, Patrice Barrow; Grandchildren, Alex Beresford Barrow, Austin Charles Barrow, Taylor Morgan Scurlock, Madison Leigh Murphy(Scurlock), Kiley Elaine Dubenion and Kearston Emma Dubenion; Great-grandchildren Solomon Lance Featherstone, Samir Jerome Featherstone, Sunny Ray Beasley, Anora Elaine Murphy, Mia Simone, and Zoe Parker Barrow and a host of relatives and friends.

Services will be held at Zion AME Delaware on July 15, 2022, at 1:00 PM.
