Esther Caroline Bosley (Brant), age 87 of Columbus, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at OSU Medical Center East. Affectionately known as “Sweetsie,” she was born June 24, 1928 in Atlantic City, NJ to the late Thomas Beaver Augusta Wright. She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School system and eventually settled in Columbus, Ohio with Louis L. Bosley where they reared two sons. She lived a life of service by working with many families in the Bexley area as a domestic and also worked at Children’s Hospital and Doctors North as a nursing assistant. “Sweetsie” was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend to anyone she met. Devoted sons Ulysses Jr. and Jesse faithfully cared for her during her last days. Preceded in death by ex-husband, Ulysses Brant Sr. and husband, Louis L. Bosley. Survived by sons Ulysses Brant Jr. and Jesse (Shirlee) Brant, 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews.
