Eugene "Joe" Morgan, Jr.

Eugene Morgan Jr. was born in Columbus, Oh on April 20, 1953 to Eugene Sr. & Lillian Morgan. He transitioned from this life on December 7, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father Eugene Morgan Sr., his sister Patricia Almon, his brother and sister in law Elijah and Sandy Morgan. He is survived by mother Lillian Morgan, daughter Angelique (Vincent) Goliday and her mother Ethel Dyer, children in love Brenda, Phillip, and Demetrius Dyer; Grandchildren Myles Goliday, Chance Dyer, Joseph Murphy, Sequan, Michael, Austin and Gabriel Dyer; Siblings, Oscar Morgan, Naomi Sealey, Timothy Morgan, Danny (Rita) Susi, Donny (Dawanda) Susi, Michelle (Tony) Susi, Michael (Angie) Susi, and David Susi; special friends, Barbara Jennings, Patricia Adams, Wanda Veasley, and Elizabeth Wimbley, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Eugene attended the Living Faith Apostolic Church led by Bishop Edgar Posey. He retired from AT&T & Chase Bank. Until his passing, he owned and operated his beauty salon, Designs by JR1. Although his passion was cosmetology, Eugene was also an avid collector of fine goods and lover of antiques. He was a man of great vision and innovation – an expert at repurposing unused items. Eugene was committed to the Brittany Hills community and was well known and loved by all who lived there. He was known for his kindness and unique sense of humor, as well as his generosity. Above all, he loved his family and was dedicated to their well-being and success.
