Fannie Bernice (Simmons) Womick

Fannie Bernice Womick was born February 10, 1963 in Macon, Georgia. As a child, her family relocated to Columbus, Ohio where she graduated from South High School and was employed by NCO Financial Systems. To her loved ones, she was affectionately known also as Lil' Fannie or Fannie Boo. On July 21, 2017, at the age of 54, Fannie passed away while at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fannie (Julius) Russell and Cornelius Simmons. Left to cherish memories of Fannie are her four children, Brittany Womick, Bobby Womick, Brianna Herring, and Korneil Hodges; grandchildren, Aariyanna Slade, Sanaiya Slade, Khaleeya Womick, Kenyon Womick, Aaron Slade, Jr., Kenyen Womick, Sy'aare Slade, Jaicere McCutcheon, and Aazeara Slade; siblings, Valeria (Tony) Terry, Charles Buggs, Leo (Monica) Simmons, Lugene (Pam) Simmons, Sheila Simmons, Judith Holmes, Christopher Russell, and Julius Russell, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
