Fannie Kate Alexander was born to Barbara (Eppinger) and Major Holloway in Molena, Georgia on March 7, 1935. She was called home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2011. Fannie attended Georgia High School and shortly thereafter moved to Columbus, Ohio to be with her brothers and sisters. In 1962 she married Frazier Mack Alexander. At a young age she joined Liberty Hill Baptist Church where she served as an usher. Fannie worked at The Ohio State University, Capital University, and Ohio Dominican University. After 17 years of employment with the Athletic Club of Columbus she retired. Fannie enjoyed attending church and babysitting her grandchildren until her health failed her. She is preceded in death by her husband Frazier Alexander; son Michael D. Alexander; brothers Willie, Lawrence, Clarence, John, Jim, and Major, Jr.; and sisters Ruby, Josie, Rosabell, and Lucy. Fannie leaves to cherish her memory devoted sons Donald V. Williamson and Christopher Alexander; brother Pastor Jacob (Bertha) Holloway; sister Dorothy (James) Towns; grandchildren Corbin Williamson, Aric Williamson, Julian Williamson, Paige Williamson, Gabrielle Williamson, Alanya Williamson and Nia Alexander; special daughter Linette Alexander and a host of other relatives and friends.
