Fanny Lee Anderson, age 66 while surrounded by family and friends, kept her appointment with her Lord on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Fanny was born January 26, 1949 in Montgomery, Alabama. She graduated from East High School in 1969. She was a member of Genoa Baptist Church. Fanny was preceded in death by father, Benjamin Brown; mother, Susan Hamilton. She is survived by sons, Charles (Julie) Anderson Lancaster, Oh, Anthony (Myla) Anderson Nashville Tn.; daughters, Tasha Anderson Phoenix, AZ, Nicole Anderson Columbus, Oh; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; “favorite Aunt Cat” Catherine Hampton; brothers, William (Debra) Brown, Kenneth Hamilton; sisters, Linda Barksdale, Toni (Clinton Sr.) Parks, Geneva Moses; host of cousins, nephews and nieces. Known by her children as a faithful, Godly, virtuous, loving, and caring mother, Fanny will leave her imprint of love forever on their hearts and lives. Known to her grandchildren as a priceless, loving, grateful, selfless, caring, funny Maw Maw she was someone they could count on with her compassionate love. Fanny’s love knew no boundaries and was extended to her community around her. Fanny was known to many as Mrs. “A”. Fanny changed the lives of children and adults as a professional caregiver for many years. Fanny’s positive words of kindness and gentle spirit will be greatly missed.
