Florence Ruby Clemons

On Sunday, June 28, 2020 Florence Ruby Clemons of Columbus, OH went home to be with the Lord at the age of 88 years. Florence was born on September 4,1931 in Detroit, MI to Bruce and Ruby Woods. She was the first in her immediate family to accept Jesus Christ as her savior on December 4, 1974 and ushered the rest of her family into the Kingdom of God. Florence was a loving wife to William Clemons, Sr. and dedicated mother to their five children. She will lovingly be remembered by her children, Renee Witcher, William Clemons, Jr., Karen Clemons, Terence Clemons (Sharon), and Gaye Clemons; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, siblings; Janet Rieves, Nathaniel Woods, Sharon Woods, and Theresa Woods and numerous other family members and friends. Florence is preceded in death by her husband, William M. Clemons, Sr.; parents, Bruce and Ruby Woods her siblings, Mabel Steele, Bruce Woods, Jr., Clifford Woods, and James Woods. The family would like to send a special thank you to Florence’s oldest child, Renee Witcher who selflessly took care of her until her last days.
