Floyd Jordan, 63, of Columbus, Ohio went to be with His Lord and Savior on Saturday evening, September 4, 2010 at OSU Hospital after a brief illness. Floyd was a loving father, grandfather, brother and husband. He attended East High School where he played football and track. He served in the United States Army; and after his service he was employed by Westinghouse, Techneglas for more than 20 years, and most recently Wal-Mart. He enjoyed all types of music and watching sports with family and friends. Floyd was a peacemaker, very easy going and non-confrontational. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vandella Jordan; daughter, Angela and brothers, Ambrose, David, Jerry and Homer Jordan. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife Brenda; sisters and brothers, Irene Zeller, Viola Bosley, George Jordan, Alfred (Princess) Jordan, Lennie (Odell) Boyd, Andrew (Harriett) Jordan, Elaine Walker and Kathleen Jordan; children, Floyd Jr., Timothy (Brandia), Carmen and Chaz Jordan; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
