Frances Irene Crews

Frances Irene Crews entered this life September 8, 1932, to the parents of Archie Rayfield Freeman and Molly Goings Freeman, with this union she was the youngest of two children. She was born in Edison, Ohio, matriculated through the Crestline Ohio public schools and graduated from Mansfield Senior High school. Frances was the mother of 8 children, with her first marriage she had Joe A Parker, Jeffery M Parker, Sidney D Parker, and Mary Linn Parker. She also married Roscoe Jackie Crews, with this union Avis Marie, Javetta Denise, Tamiko, and Jamon Arnie Frances has been a baptized and dedicated publisher of the Jehovah Witness Organization since 1962. She worked in Mansfield Public Schools and later transitioned to Columbus Ohio and worked for the state of Ohio Psychiatric Hospital. In addition, she attended the Ohio State University majoring in education. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. With words of wisdom being passed down from Pearl Graves her grandmother, who raised and protected her with loving arms, Frances shared stories of faith and endurance. Most of the time you could hear her sharing encouraging words or just laughing and smiling with enjoyment of being around people. Affectionately known as “Miss Frances”, young people took to her genuine personality and mothering instincts. It wasn’t always easy, but she loved God and exercised great faith, she would often say “life doesn’t always go the way you want it” and “where there is a will there is a way”. Her favorite scripture was Psalms: 23, her desire was to dwell in the house of God forever. Frances loved to read the bible and express the goodness of God and how she could not have made it without him, and she never hesitated to get down on her knees and pray to God for help. In addition, she liked to sing songs praising God’s name, her favorite song was “Here I am! Send me!”. Sleep on Momma and take your peaceful rest, we love you and we’ll miss you. On February 18, 2022, FRANCES IRENE CREWS was called to eternal rest. She leaves to cherish, and honor her memory, 7 Children Jeffery M. Parker (Regina) Sidney D. Parker, Mary Linn Parker, Avis M. Crews (Rosalyn) and Loving Cousins Bill Twyman and Esau Freeman Grandchildren: Demitrius Caldwell, Blair Higgins (Kenny), Jessica Parker, Franchesca Milner (Justin) Whitney Anderson, Erinn Bussey(Randolph) Summer Rae Parker, Jacob Gray, E’Tearrea McClee, Niles Anderson, A’marrea McClee, Makayla Gray(Jarvis) Great Grandchildren; Kenny Higgins, Kori Parker, Amarion Graves, Avana Morales, Jaxson Milner, Kolston Higgins, Kyla Brown, Zy’ahir McClee, Elias Bussey, August Parker and Emoni Bussey. She was predeceased by Pearl Graves (grandmother), Mollie Goings Freeman (mother) Archie Rayfield Freeman (father) Elmo Freeman (brother) Roscoe Jackie Crews (husband) and Joe Allen Parker (eldest son)
