Frankie Louise Mcgee

November 1, 1919 — November 16, 2017

Frankie L. McGee began her journey on November 1, 1919, which peacefully ended on November 16, 2017. A native of Augusta, Georgia, she was the seventh of nine siblings born to George Henry and Mary Green. Frankie was a resident of Columbus, Ohio and a dedicated member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she faithfully served on the ladies usher board. She was a great advocate within her community. She served on the Argyle Park Civic Association and also served numerous terms on her children's PTA. She loved working puzzles, playing board games, working cross words, and crocheting. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Jack R. McGee, and son, Gerald McGee. Left to cherish memories of Frankie are her three daughters, Margaret McGee-Shepherd, Marybelle McGee-Binford, and Marlana McGee-Carter (Quinn); 14 grandchildren, 32 great-great grandchildren, brother-in-law Herbert (Zakiyyah) McGee; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
