George A. Harris

George Anthony (Tony) Harris, age 67, departed this life July 11, 2022. Born June 12, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio, Tony was preceded in death by his loving mother, Ruth Owens, father, Earl Harris, sister, Melanie Harris and step-father, John Owens. Tony is survived by his devoted Uncles, Milton Jones and Benjamin Jones, aunts Barbara Easley and Doris Aimery, and a host of cousins and family members. A graduate of Mifflin High School, Tony attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Tony worked as a laborer on the Alaskan Pipeline, and in the security industry in Boston, Massachusetts. Tony was a true sports enthusiast, with a particular love for the game of Basketball. Tony was a devoted fan of the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots national leagues. Tony enjoyed traveling across the country throughout his lifetime, often visiting family and extended family. He will be deeply missed and live on in our memories.
