Gerald Scott Sr

Gerald Keith Scott Sr., age 58, was born on September 6, 1958 in Columbus, OH to Fred and Rosa Scott Jr. He departed on September 6, 2016. He graduated from Saint Francis De Sales High School in 1976. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Gerald was preceded in death by his grandmother, Martha Dubenion. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Fred and Rosa Scott Jr.; fiancée, Patricia Cooper; son, Gerald Scott Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Makayla and Gerald Scott III; siblings, Michelle Scott –Reed and Rhonda Scott; grandfather, Moody Dubenion; nieces, Shaniqua and Brittany; nephew, Jeremy; and a host of family and friends. Home Going Celebration will begin at 10 AM on Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the chapel at DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St., where family will receive friends from 9 AM until time of service. Pastor Stanley Parker, officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
