Gloria Jean Jackson

Our loving Gloria Jackson took a journey with God on August 1, 2021. She is at peaceful rest. Gloria 68, was born is Springfield, Ohio. She is a graduate of South High School, Columbus, Ohio and received her undergraduate degree from Columbus State University. Gloria worked at Heritage Manor, now Wexner Village, and Saint Francis Nursing Home. For the past three years she has been an Admin for Chef Carman ATL. She loved that job and the many devoted followers of the Facebook. Yes, Gloria loved those spices! Gloria was the daughter of Rodney and Carthagenia Jackson, sister to Gilda, Keith, Rodney, and Clint Jackson and Reva Woods; sister-in-law to Kim Jackson; mother to Carthagenia Christine Bond; and grandmother to Joshua Jr, Gavin and Skylar Bond and Aniyha Rivers. Gloria was proceeded in death by her loving father Rodney Alonzo Jackson of Springfield, Ohio. She achieved mountains of recognition from various organizations during her life. Among many achievements is her legacy of devotion to helping others. She worked as a volunteer at many local and regional charitable events. She was advocate for school lunch programs. Her zenith many will recall her work as Volunteer Coordinator for Columbus's Hot Times events for the past fifteen years. Her family and friends will dearly miss her and are comfortable in knowing that she had a good journey in the hands of her GOD.
