Harold Pruitt Douthitt

Harold Pruitt Douthitt, age 59, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. He was born May 23, 1951 to Mable Barnes (Conley) and the late Vernon Pruitt Douthitt, in Covington, KY. A 1969 graduate of Withrow High School, he also was a member of Brown Chapel AME Church in Cincinnati, OH. A longtime resident of Columbus, OH, he was employed at United Commercial Travelers (UCT). A gifted and talented musician, he enjoyed life, family and friends; and lived life to the fullest. He was loved by everyone and he never met a stranger. Harold is survived by his wife, Chancenia; mother, Mable Conley; brothers, John Wesley Douthitt and Clinton Conley; sister, Vernnitta Douthitt; daughter, Ursula Jackson; sons, Shawn Jordan Douthitt, Don Juan Burke and Louis (Guy) Jordan; grandchildren, Brandi D. Blackwell, Tiaria McDonald, Shatawn Jordan, Shawnae Dillard, Jordan Harrison, LaShawna Jordan, Malaika Burke, Elijah Juan Burke, Kimora Jordan, Keon Jordan, Kiesha Thompson, Layona Thompson, Brooklyn Ramsey, Ivory Ramsey, Shakira Ramsey and Javier Jordan; nieces, Krystall D. Douthitt, Brianna S. McClellan and Deanna D. McClellan; nephew, John W. Douthitt and great grandchildren, Carmello and Karmaya McDonald.
