Harrison Lofton, Iii

Harrison Lofton III, age 64, passed away on June 7, 2019. He was born on March 27, 1955, in Smyrna, Tennessee. He attended Columbus Public Schools, graduating from Marion Franklin High School in 1973. As an athlete in high school he played football and baseball. Upon graduation from high school, he attended Franklin University here in Columbus. He was a long time employee at Byers Chevrolet. Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Mattie (Dillard) Lofton; his sister, Libby Lofton: his brothers, Charles, Leslie, and Jonathan Lofton: and his nephew, Jonathan Lofton II. Harry is survived by his sons. Harrison Lofton, IV and Franklyn Lofton: and his daughter, Mone’t Quarles; his long time domestic partner, Martha Brown; his sisters, Francenia Williams, LaNese Lofton Powell, Lesia (Steve) Williams, and Lynda Lofton; his brothers, Reginald, Nathaniel (Patricia), and Terence Lofton; his “Special Brother”, Arnett Brown; his “Honorary Mom”, Deacon Yvonne Brown; a host of nieces, nephews; cousins; aunts; and all of his friends.
