Hattie Lois Crawford was born September 26, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio. She was an amazing stay-at-home mother who raised ten children and was later employed by the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS), from which Hattie retired after 25 years of exceptional service. She went to be with our Lord on Saturday, August 23, 2014. Hattie was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Mae Clark, son Carl Michael Clark, and parents, Dennis and Willie Mae Burke. Hattie leaves behind her loving, devoted husband of nearly 60 years, Paul Anderson Crawford; sons, Ken (Carol) Clark, Paul (Willette) Crawford, and Phillip Crawford; daughters, Sharon Woods, Patricia (Daniel) Bosieh; Pamela Crawford, and Paula Crawford; brother, Freeman Burke; sister in Christ, Lucille Marr; grandchildren, Michael (who she raised as a son), Cecil, George, Jennifer, Christina, Stephanie, Christopher, Leah, Shawn-Drae, Christian, and Monique; special cousin, Ona Tucker; and a host of great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear and wonderful friends, including Nellie and Kathy Amspaugh, Mary Ellen Oxer, and Willie Tukes. Heavenly Father Almighty, we thank You for giving us the Greatest Mom. Mother, your memories are always with us. Amen.
