Henrietta A. Crump

March 15, 1933 — July 11, 2021

HENRIETTA ANN CRUMP was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on Wednesday, March 15, 1933. She was the daughter of Priscilla Mae Ratleff and Percy Leon Rockhold. She was fondly called “Aunt Weenie” by family and friends. After losing her mother at a very early age, Henrietta was cared for by her mother’s sister, Fannie Ratleff-Moore (Shirley) of Detroit, Michigan. At the age of seven, Henrietta requested to live with her siblings at the Ohio Veterans’ Children’s Home, located in Xenia, Ohio. Henrietta lived there until she graduated in 1951. Henrietta worked for the government for many years until retirement. During her retirement, she was employed with Amethyst of Columbus, where she proudly worked with women recovering from drug and alcohol abuse. In 2015, Henrietta retired from the work force. Henrietta loved the Lord and enjoyed worshiping at New Birth Christian Ministries. Blessed with 88 years of life, our beloved Henrietta “Aunt Weenie” Ann Crump, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, left this world, unexpectedly, on Sunday, July 11, 2021. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only brother, Melvin Rockhold, Sr.; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Rockhold, Edith (Clayton) Rhea, Leola (William) Wilson, Minnietta (Leonard) Brown, all of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Alice (Prince) Davis of Dayton, Ohio. Loving memories are cherished by her seven children: sons, Anthony “Rick” (Bernice) Rockhold of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jeffrey (Verian) Crump of Delaware, Ohio; daughters, Jennifer Hart, Geralynn Crump, both of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Robin (Thomas) Clark, Pamela Schundelmier, both of Columbus, Ohio, and Christina Crump of Huber Heights, Ohio. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom she loved dearly. Henrietta will truly be missed by all.
