Ida Bell Murphy Austin, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Retired from Children's Hospital after 25 years of service. Member of Southfield Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband of 57 years, William Austin; daughter, Sheila Austin; father, Clarence Murphy and mother, Nellie Kay Kimmons. Survived by daughters, Linda Austin Elliott of Upland, CA and Ida Denise Austin; sons, Rickie Austin, William F. (Toi) Austin, Bramlett Brian (Pam) Austin; brother, Dr. Bramlett (Faye) Murphy of Oxford, Mississippi; sisters-in-law, Geneva Murphy of Dania, Florida, Willie Murphy of Ferndale, Michigan and Leola Murphy of Atlanta, Georgia; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
