Inez Naomi (West) Wilks

Inez Naomi West Wilks, age 94, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, June 5, 2017. She attended the Columbus Public School System and was previously employed with Dobbs House, OSU, and Frito-Lay. She was a long-time member of Gospel Tabernacle Church where she served as a Deaconess. Preceded in death by her beloved husband John William, Sr., parents Alexander and Missouri West, brothers, Alonzo, Elbert, Harold and Harvey West, and sisters, Geraldine Days, Melba Jean McClain, Ossie Kimbrough, and Karen Jarrett. She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, John (Theresa) Jr., Michael (Cheryl), and Terry (Carla) Wilks; daughters, Joyce (Harold) Talbert, Sr., Carmen (Douglas) Dorsey, and Leslie Wilks; sister Lavon Shedd; brother-in-law Herbert (Linda) Wilks; sister-in-law Constance West; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
