Jackqueline Davis

March 10, 1947 — November 4, 2020

Jackqueline Toone Brown Davis was an amazing soul that blessed everyone she encountered with her joy and light. She was a fierce woman who marched to the beat of her own drum. She is survived by her two sons and her daughter-niece: Thaddeus, Nicholas, and Rachel. They miss her immensely. The loving wife of Vaughn B. Davis, Jackie was happiest in his loving embrace, and we rejoice them being together again. Jackie retired from Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority after spending more than a decade supporting the community members’ growth and maturation, a career she loved. Having graduated from CCAD with a Bachelor of Art degree, the arts were always an important part of who Jackie was. From being on the founding board of the Columbus Arts festival to the way she decorated her family home, she was an artist through and through, and always found a way to support the arts in her community. Jackie gave herself fully to the people she loved. She wore many hats; mother, wife, artist, friend, community leader, etc. She gave herself so fully to all these roles and so much more. She was a beautifully complex woman who will be eternally missed.
