Jacqueline (Jackie) Lorraine Denham-Littlefield was born to Mabel and John Denham Sr., in Anawalt, West Virginia, on November 28, 1947. She departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Her husband, Willard E. Littlefield, mother Mabel Denham, father John Denham, Sr., and brother Alvin Valentine preceded Jacqueline in death. In 1961, as a teenager, Jackie moved to Columbus, Ohio, with her family, where she attended Central High School. Later on in life, Jackie and her siblings formed a group known as the “Valentines.” Those of us who knew Jackie know that she had a drive to sing and motivate others to sing. She enjoyed cooking for the family and friends during the holidays. In the early 70’s, Jackie worked at Western Electric Company and retired as a supervisor from AG Bell in 2003. To cherish her memory, Jackie leaves her two children: daughter Alyssia (Everett) Fields and son Robert (Jackie) Denham, both of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by six sisters and five brothers: Julia (Harold) Smith, William Denham, Margo Denham, John (Carol) Denham, Jr., Mark (Francine) Denham, Wayne Denham and Rita Denham, all of California, Melba Denham and Vera Annette Denham-Cabell, both of Columbus, Ohio, Ronald Denham of West Virginia, and Olivia (Terry) Eason of New York; grandchildren: Kela (Terrell) Hisle, Everett Fields, III, Dountae Fields, Rashad Fields, Thomas Fields, Amhaad Fields, Isaiah Fields, Ashley Denham, Robert Denham, Jr., Simone Denham, and Aaliyah Denham; eighteen great grandchildren; aunt Olivia (Maynard) Harris and uncle Harold Valentine; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
